I am sorrythat you are experiencing this. I hope you have the energy to get the hospital to understand the importance of having you NEWBORN baby with you.
I really hope you are ok.
Hi everyone, just a quick update, my phones about to die.
I buzzed after I woke up and told the nurse my baby has to stay with me in here. She asked me why he wasn't here already. ****ing stupid emergency doctors!!!! Now I'm on the ward everyone's really supportive, they are getting an LC to come and see me and are going to help me get bub back on the boob :leap: I'm so happy! Thankyou for all the hugs and encouragement!
Fabulous news! She'll go on the boob - no drama. It's what babies do.
Naww yay! That brought tears to my eyes :) Im sure your lil man will be very happy to see them boobies again!!! xxoxox
Happy dance happy dance happy dance. I thought there for a minute we were going to have to do a BB sit in or something lol
That's absolutely fantastic!

Im sorry you got put through that over night!! Stupid ED doctors!!! Yay that you are being looked after properly now and let us know how everything goes. It will be fine!!!! breathing a sigh of relief!!!
I'm glad you had the courage to raise the issue with the ward and I'm so glad you can have your little bubba in there with you. Good luck with everything and I hope you get well soon.
Happy tears!! I'm so relieved for you!
It's early days and there are more challenges ahead, and with this experience you know you have it in you to push through them - lots of happy dancing on BB!
I think this definitely warrants a letter of massive complaint, when you're recovered - if you need help composing it, let us know, esp as I can do a search on the uni library database for research to back up your complaints and reasons they need to educate their staff about newborn and maternal wellbeing.
Good work
Yay that's great! You poor thing though it would have been terrible to go through.
Fantastic to hear, it made me all weepy! Now for a quick recovery! Xxx

Fantastic news. I am glad you can get things back on track, and feed ypr bub the best way you can, be it FF or BF. From here on in, you know you have done your best.
Tears sprung immediately when I read your news! So happy he is with you where he belongs! Medical staff need some training on baby bonding! IN fact society needs it!
Oh Yas, I've only just read this thread. A big  what an aweful time you've had. I hope your infection is responding to the IV antibiotics and that you have bub nicely tucked up in bed with you. Are you at GCH? If so I hope the LC you see is Helen Green. She's awesome.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
