I'm in a way drawing at straws here but....

For the last 2 (almost 3) months i've had a terrible skin irritation on my breasts. Mostly around the areola but when it was at it's worst the nipple also. Been down the thrush path and it wasn't that. I went to a dermatologist and he said it was a form of eczema and that very well may be the case but there has to be more of an explanation as to why and why prodominately around both of my breasts.

I'm trying many different mothods to get this cleared up but i'm starting to wonder if DD being on zantac and the terrible irritation i have is a little too much of a coincidence?? DD is 7.5 months and has been on zantact since she was 7 weeks old. Irritation appeared some time in April. Started trying to treat it early May.

I've been to see a natropath and her professional opinion of little ones on zantac is not great but that's her opinion. For us when DD was struggling and at her worst it helped us and her SO much. She is not saying for sure but as i am she is wondering if the zantact and the effect it has had on her acids has caused or encouraged the irriation that i have.

I'm so desperate i've taken DD off zantac (so far so good ) and i'm waiting to see the effect it may have on me but in the mean time i was wondering if by chance anyone else has ever had a similar issue? It may just be me and my sensitive skin but thought i'd just put it out there to see.

I truely hope no one else has been through or is going through what i am but like i said earlier there has to be a reason for this!?!?
