    Sore breast?

How long has your breasts stayed sore or tender for while breastfeeding. I don't mean aching from fullness but if my 4 year old leans on them it really hurts.
I'm sure this is normal but really have no idea as I didn't feed for this long before.

Maybe.. I'm not sure. It might be sore if you're due for a feed and a bit full.
The ABA might be your best bet for a quick answer.

Is it in a particular area? Is it sore/tender all the time when pressed on, or only sometimes?

It seems to be on the outside - closest to my underarms. It does seem to come and go but it is most of the time.

Could it be a blocked duct? Or a duct that gets full quicker?
I've noticed I have one duct on my left side that hurts when I hold P and he leans against it, and it is usually when it is getting milk in it

I'm not sure. I guess it could be one that is deeper. I have heaps of milk so maybe it is just them filling?

Thanks, I guess I will just keep going and doing what I am.
