I usually play with my phone or with ds. if I'm feeding dd to sleep I lie down next to her and I usually just daydream - think of things to blog about, chores that need to be done, just generally clear my head. I love those feeds, they're so peaceful
In the old days, when a feed took 45 mins I would watch whole episodes of The West Wing on foxtel at 2am! I used to love it (because it was summer it was nice and warm too!!) Then when he got older, and I starting feeding him in the chair in his room, I would browse the iPad. Then winter came, and feeds only took 15 mins, I would just stare at him and think how fast he was growing, already longing for days past, and dreading the days when he would no longer feed. Now night feeds are few and far between, I love not doing them, but I also love doing them (if that makes sense). When I do them, i rub his hair, tickle his back, play with his feet, tell him how he is growing up too fast, and wonder what I ever did with out my two beautiful guys.
