We moved when DD was 10 1/2 months.

Food When moving we had a few takeaway meals on the day of the move and the day after (we did it ourselves though), so make sure you have stuff at the ready for DD in an esky, that way if you are busy shifting something or organising something someone else can grab DD meal.

DD slept in the portacot for only her middle of the day sleep, as we did her room first thing that morning, so it was already to go that night, but you may have a few days/weeks of resettling, as the house will be different and there will be different sounds etc. Our new house is a lot quieter and it took time for DD to resettle into a routine of sorts.
