Accom for a few weeks that wont send me broke?

    Is that even doable

Im due to head to Sydney with the kids in a few weeks and Im going to be in between houses for atleast 4wks if not longer. I have zero idea on where the heck Im going to stay for that time.

Anyone have any suggestions on an affordable option?

Totally sucks I have zero family to help me out while exDH will be put up in a hotel and walk into a lovely new house

Uumm serviced apartment, if not caravan park. But TBH, I think it will be very hard to get into the latter.

AnnaT wondering why you need to move to Sydney - is it just because XH is here? Is there somewhere else you have family or other support networks? It occurs to me that if there is somewhere you could be which is cheaper and/ or there is family support available maybe it would work out better for XH to travel to you to see the boys. Otherwise try looking outside the city, possibly even the Central Coast or towards Wollongong, or the Blue Mountains. It is expensive to rent here and it can be hard to find what you are looking for. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Can you come to perth until you get a house in sydney? we have stacks of room here, and you're more than welcome to stay as long as you need.

Sydney is my home, and while I have family and friends there they arent able to help me out with what I need most right now. I want to be where Im comfortable and thats Sydney. Totally sucky situation though lol

Tan - wish it was doable but tbh Im avoiding Ryans family so if I went to Perth with the kids theyd be all over me like a rash lol

Can you get in contact with the department of housing?? They might be able to set you up with transitional housing. It is short term but not sure about costs.
