I've rented in NSW for about 11 years, so I have no clue of the rules in WA. Can someone help with a few things?

My house is being taken over by another company (community housing, not real estate, so not sure if the rules are different) & there are a few things she's asked of me that aren't legal in NSW.

She's told me I'll need to pay a pet bond of $200, as I didn't pay one when I moved in. That doesn't exist in NSW. And she's told me if they decide to up the rent when they review in in 6 months, I'll have to top up the bond. They can not ask you to do this in NSW, & I would've said something, but I was at a loss for words trying to figure out how I was supposed to come up with all this money they're asking for.

I applied for assisstance for my bond. I pay it off. Am I able to do that with the pet bond too? If I'm still paying off the other one?
