DH and I are really thinking about moving down that way. as i have some extended family down that way. and i told DH i'd put some feelers out to find out what its like. it wouldn't be for another 12 maybe 18 months but i'd like to know what kind of place it is there.

so what would be the good things about it

the bad?

work? DH can work with forklifts (logisitcs) and will try just about anything (other then animal slaughter) for me i'd be happy as a safeway Deli chick again!

any thing else?

Hi Dansta, we'll be neighbours!
I haven't moved to the area yet, we'll be a bit east of the Gath. From what I gather I am really looking forward to the move. The community houses have got groups for new residents (at least the one in Korumburra does), so that gives an early welcome for us.
I have no idea about childcare - I found the Baw Baw shire website was excellent for providing information and resources for families and it doesn't even rate a mention in the Sth Gipp shire website
There's a gymnastics club and indoor pool and cinema there. I'm learning, too I'll share what I know as I find out!
