...and Im still constipated. It is weird though because my stool itself is not hard it is soft and normal. Everyday I feel the urge to have a bowel movement and when I go to the bathroom I just cant get it out. I literally feel like this for two hours before I can finally go. Is this normal? I also have horrible gas from not being able to go.
Have you chatted to your gp about it? It could be a muscle thing. How is your pelvic floor? Otherwise it doesn't sound like constipation as such, since the stools are not hard.
Do you drink lots of water? Do you exercise every day?
Speak to your GP Hun, sounds like it might be a pelvic floor issue if your stools aren't hard and you are having trouble going. Not to scare you but a prolapse can also cause this but effective pelvic floor exercises can help.
I would also speak to your GP but also ask about nerve pathways disrupted in your surgery.
After my 2nd c-sec I couldn't feel my bladder being full. They told me it should come back on it's own, but that if it hadn't after 6months to go back and have it investigated.
