    C-Sec questions #2

    HI again

I am now about 2 and a half months from my cs, and I am just wondering if others have had the same experiences or if there is something is wrong with me (ok I mean with my cs everyone knows there is something wrong with me LOL )

I use to be a dancer in a former skinnier life and when I went out dancing recently I noticed I experienced this stragne pulling sensation across my pubic bone. didn't feel like a muscle strain it just felt weird (sorry for lack of a better decsription)

Also I have noticed no pain when there is an upward pressure (like those fabbo granny jocks that pull everything in) but a downward press even slight I still get a dull ache across the scar.

I am still VERY itchy though and the scar is still quite red ... I am sure people think I am a mad lady with flees

    Have others experiences this??

Not really, itchy scars probably mean its still healing and as it only happened less than 3 months ago thats very possible. It is healing tho and itchy is a good sign.

I'm 18 months post caesar and I still get pain in my scar, it will get worse as my belly gets bigger too I'm afraid.

    HTH's.

    Cheers,

    Beck

nae...in my experience it took literally years for my scar to settle, and even had itchy trouble with it after birthing my next VBAC 3 years 9 months later. it was red still years (six after the twins) later.

i found massaging the "scarless healer" Rosa cream (see your health food shop) into it helped.

    Thanks ladies,

I will have to check my local health food shop. I don't think they will have that stuff though (small country town) but I may be able to find in another town further away. Thanks for that.

I guess once a pain in the gut, always a pain in the gut bad bogan humor its so annoying though, seriously its like someone put a jar of itching powder there.
