C-Section Scarring, does it affect fertility?

Hi All,

Wondering how many of you have had a c-section and had trouble TTC next time round?
Have heard a few girls say they have been told that a c-section can cause scarring, and affect your fertility?
What are your thoughts?

Hi Nic,
I had a c-section and had also heard about scarring. (I think it was that the embie can't implant in the c-section scar) I don't think it is really a big deal but I am having a lap in a few weeks (to investigate why we have not conceived again) so I will ask the gyno. that question.

I had a c-section and have had no problem with getting pregnant again.

Hi Nic,

I too had a c section 2 1/2 years ago and had no problem falling pg pretty much as soon as we tried.
