There's a book written by an Australian journalist which has recently been released...she has had 4 c-sections...

Her name is Michelle Hamer and her book is called "Delivery by Appointment"

I had my 3rd c-section back in January. The only problems with mine was it leaked when i threw up I'm sure most of that was because i had staples. Also they had to cut down a little to get Eleanor out because she was stuck.

    All the best with yours.

my sister had 4, and a midwife i know had 6!

My sister said the only difference between her 1st and 4th was that they cut a bit of scar tissue out during the 4th one...

Ive had 3 c/s, a tubual reversal (the cut is the same as a c/s) and I'll be having baby number 4 in January.
Natural birth is probably VERY unlikely matie. I went into early labour with Vy (child number 3) and I begged to go natural. Was told no way as my c/s scar would burst open and cause alot of havock. Its the out come thats the most important...even if it makes us feel incomplete. I know how you must be feeling...every pg I hope and pray that I can have a natural birth and feel cheated by the fact the I have to end up having a c/s yet again. I feel like I havent completed my task here on earth at being a complete woman by not giving birth properly, having carried my babies for so long and then just having them cut out of me. I would give anything to give them the chance to enter the world the way the big man up stairs intended. Yet in saying that I am grateful my children made their debute into this world, safe and alive.
Try not to feel to deflatted about the situation as hard as it it.
Again, email me if you like
    Best of luck
    Maz

I had alot of pulling when I had my tubes done and my periods were very painful. I suffered really bad headaches for a week before AF arrived. Getting them reservsed was the best thing I did.

did you suffer with AF before hand?

I am a little nervous about doing it. I read something about tubal ligation syndrome or something like that

NO, my AF was 3 days and ran like clock work.
My mum had her tubes cut and tied and ended up having a complete hysterectomy (sp???) 2 years later.
You might be different though, everyone is.

im here.sorry puter was playing up.
yes i have had 4 c.sections, the first was an emergency as baby would not fit through my pelvic, baby was 7pounds so not big but he was stuck, the second was elective on advice from the dr but back then i was a bit unsure of my rights so just went along with his advice to which at this point in time i am very disappointed as i did not realise that i probably could have had a vaginal delivery as baby was 6 pounds, the 3rd i was given no choice as it was concidered to risky as i was in a small hospital with no facilities to help in unexpected difficulties ,baby was 5 pound 13 ounces, and of course they just laughed at me with the fourth when i asked, baby was 6 pounds.so it was 4 c.sections for me.
what else would you like to know?

no probs,i am certain that there is no way that you will be able to have a natural birth,to much pressure on your scar.good luck and congratulations on your 4th baby.
