KEMH has a really fabulous physio on staff that deal with all sorts of issues related to post CS.
Get in contact with her when you are at the hossie tomorrow, and se can give you all information and pamphlets on what you can, can't, shouldn't and most definitely must not do, and when you can do it all.
Most importantly, go easy, it takes a LOT of time to heal and you can't do anything strenuous at all readily.
Ok so is it just a physio that I can access without getting admitted? Hopefully they work like the LCs they can be paged from the nursery to come and see me. I hope she works tomorrow. I'm desperate to get rid of my belly. I feel gross, but I know I can't over do it.
She should have come round to see you before you were discharged with some info, but due to circumstance they may have lumped it all in with the discharge papers or something.
She is lovely and deals with all things post partum. I wish I could remember her name!
Anyway, you should be able to access it as a past patient, just like the LCs xx
Start gently and work your way up. See the physio and get some exercises. Don't swim until your scar is healed, it could get infected. Walking is great. I started with just a light stroll and slowly worked my way back up to jogging. Rule of thumb, if it hurts, stop!
