I went home after 5 days. THere is no policy (as far as I'm aware) at my hospital. I know that I could have gone sooner, but they were more than happy for me to stay that long.

I would be very surprised if you were able to go home the same day as your C/S. I know there is no way I could! But I can understand that when you have another child that you really want to get home ASAP. Have you talked to anyone at the hospital about their policy?
