cramping & increased loss during breastfeeding after c-section???

So I've noticed that during or shortly after bf'ing I get really crampy & get a slightly larger gush of blood afterwards. How long did the cramping & gushs last for after your c-section?

Correct me if I am wring anyone but that is your uterus contracting back to pre baby size. It is a good sign that your body is doing what it is suppose to. Not too sure how long it lasts but if it is bothering you panadol should ease the pain.

    Yep I agree with Zap.
Mine lasted for a couple of weeks, but blood loss was less as each day passed.

This isn't just related to c-sect birth. This would be lochia and your uterus contracting back to original size. I think all up I bled for approx. 6 weeks
