Really bad pain at scar site 12mths on...

mmm I am hoping for some good old fashioned BB wisdom here. I have really really bad pain at my scar site. I am talking "gee did I just have a c section again and forget to bring home the baby?" like pain. (I joke because I am over tried, not a lot of sleep last night) I did manage to get in to my GP this afternoon but I am curious as to what the could be looking for. I know I have a uterus that is a mess of scar tissue from utrine tearing from the synto in labour could that be part of it? I have had cysts in the past maybe one of those?? I am at a bit of a loss. It started gradually and has been getting worse over the last few days. The more I do the worse it gets. mmmm confussed and in pain.... Guess I will have to wait and see.

Maybe the biggest part of me is just peed off, I mean its bad enough they screwed my uterus but now to be dealing with crap 12mths later??? Grrrrrrr.

hi Amy, I get really bad pain in my scar, I am "assuming" that mine is now related to scar tissue (hoping its not endo!) when I ovulate, I say assume as the GP I saw was not interested in helping me.
mine tends to only last for a few hours and strats pretty bearable and then suddenly I am on the floor writhing in agony, feeling like im in labour (contraction type pains) and my scar is about to burst open.
I hope you get someone a bit more sympathetic than I did. Good luck. xx

it could be adhesions on the scar tissue? Or it could just be a cyst that is totally unrelated to the scar tissue. I hope he can give you an answer though hun, that would be sucky having to put up with it.

Grr Typed out a reply and it got lost!! I ended up in hospital for wed and wed night. Turns out they suspect I have developed an auto immune disorder of the bowel. I need to go back in the new year for a colonoscopy (sp?) and biopsys and stuff. In the meantime the symptoms will just have to be managed as the flare up. I was on nil by mouth for 24hrs which is called bowel rest, it idea being that you stop the bowel and let the inflamation die down. You are on an IV though while this is happening!! It was my first night ever away from DD so it was tough all round but good to be home. I am on a pretty bland diet for now just letting things get back to normal. I am glad that it resolved quickly. I am relieved it isn't scar tissue or anything like that, the doc seemed pretty confident that once they identified which condition it was I would be able to manage it with diet and possibly medicaiton if needed.

Thanks for all the good thoughts!!!
