Hey Ladies,
As you know I had an emerg C Section with DD 6 weeks ago and I still have some numb sections bellow the scar - has anyone else or does any one else have these? Do they stay that way or does feeling slowly come back??
Cheers

Hi Kate
Congratulations on your bub!
That numbness is really normal - to make the incision they have severed the nerves in your skin. It takes time for those to grow back together and until they do you'll have numbness around the area.
Some feeling should come back over the next few months but it may take a few years before it goes away completely...sometimes women never regain full feeling but most do. It does take awhile though.
Hi there, most women feel numb around and above their scar-- its completely normal. Mine took almost a year to fully go away. But sometimes if its cold, it goes a bit numb again
Totally normal mate.
I still had numbness from the first c-section when having the second!!! I don't think it will ever come back for me.
Mine is still numb after 3 months
Congrats on the birth of your DD..
I had 2 emergency c/s my last 20 months ago now and I remeber being numb in small sections of the scar for 12 months
So yes it is very normal to experience numbness afterwards
Yep, its normal . I've still got numbness, and it doesn't look to be coming back any time soon.
Thanks Ladies - glad to hear that at least some part of me is normal!! hhehe
Well I could always look inthe bright side and get a kick a$$ tatoo on my numb area!!!
Leash - yeah I am stretch marked up to! Maybe on hell of a cover Tat!! He cept it would turn to poo when I was carrying number 2 I would guess!!
yep very normal. im still numb. My sister is still numb and her youngest is turning 7.
My C- section was 2.5 years ago and some bits of the scar have only just come good...
