C section in a few days... How to choose calm- What did you do?

Well, woke up this morning and although I have been choosing calm... I am just not there. I cannot stop thinking...

So thought I would ask, if you had a planned C-section.. what did you do to calm yourself days leading up to the C?

I am open to any suggestions and know deep down my ob is awesome and I am going to be fine... Just cant get over the unknown.

I read up heaps and heaps and asked my MW what the procedure was like...
This enabled me to visualize what might happen.
I always had in my mind, that even though it was surgery- I was going to finally meet my baby girl, that helped me to focus
    Good luck Hun!

With mine I managed to block out all noise and everything that was going on around me and focus solely on hearing my babies first cry so that her and I were connected in that moment. It only takes them about 5-10 mins to get bub out. dd was given to me pretty much straight after she was born so for the rest of the surgery my focus was in her so that helped keep me calm.
