Anyone have a Fiesta or Mazda 2?

I am trying to find a new car - something small with 4 doors with a reasonable sized boot. I have narrowed it down to a 2011 Mazda 2 or 2011 Ford Fiesta (auto).

I like the look of the Fietsa and it has a slightly bigger boot in this years model, also it seems more "roomy" inside even though I think this is an optical illusion. The Mazda seems less fussy but is also nice to look at.

I know neither will go well with a baby capsule but I definately don't want a bigger car. We have a Mazda 3 that we are keeping, which may suit bigger trips etc. Anyone have any good bad points about either car or any suggestions? Thanks

I have a mazda 2 and love it.

I've never had an issue with it, good on fuel, car park it anywhere, lovely to drive, enough power for city driving, comfortable enough on the highway as well.

Thanks!! How do you find the 2 for boot space? Are you able to fit a pram in there?

Our 2 were past prams when we got the car so I don't know.

Its rather small so I think pram choices would be limited.

I know you have two models in mind but have you looked at the Toyoto Yaris or Echo. I have two nieces who love these models.

I have heard Mazda part can be expensive so check out prices also.

While you are still deciding take your pram with you to try in the boot.
