Rear-facing car seat inTarago

Just wondering if someone can tell me which row a rear facing car seat needs to be in, trying to sort out my sister's for her. Vic roads says the back row of a vehicle so that means the car seat needs to go in the back row and not the middle right?

I'm in Queensland, but Qld Ambulance installed my rear-facing capsule in the middle row. I always have it middle row, driver's side. IMO, the back row would make it too hard to climb through and carry the baby or capsule in and out. :0)

I would think it can go where ever there is an anchor. But have never owned a Tarago so don't know if there are other specifics or not.

You can put it in either row. The back is generally considered slightly safer but honestly it would just be ridiculous putting in and taking out a baby from the back! In the middle is certainly considered safer than sides so I'd definitely say right in the middle, middle seat middle row . FWIW I have a tarago and that's where my youngest is with 3yo next to him and older 2 the side seats in back row as they can buckle themselves. (someone in the front can also reach the middle seat easily to pass bubby dummy or toy or whatever which is a bonus)

I have DD3 in the middle, middle seat middle row. DD2 middle row behind driver. DD1 and DS are in the side seats in back row. we only have 2 anchor points in the back, we have 3 in the middle but want the seat near the door free to get into the back.
