    Cars with inbuilt boosters

I remember a thread a while back where someone commented that their car had inbuilt booster seats but I can't find it or remember who made the comment. Anyway, we desperately need to upgrade DH's car and so are going to bite the bullet and buy a decent car that will last us long term. I have a 7 seater 4WD so what we're after is something that can fit the 5 of us in comfortably now but also in another 10 years when the girls actually have legs

The problem is that to get a car that takes three seats across the back means its a big car, and we'd rather avoid that if we can, so I'm wondering if the inbuilt booster/s would solve that problem for us.

I've done a google search and the only car that came up is the Volvo XC90 - lovely, but doesn't exactly meet the medium car criteria! Would be grateful to hear from anyone that has a car or knows of a car that has them.

    Thanks lovelies.

    Cars with inbuilt boosters

I think it's the dodge caliber, a girl at mothers group was talking about it the other day.

The XC70 and XC60 also have the inbuilt booster seats. As do the V60 and V70.

Rouge's car is a Dodge and it is quite large.

All Volvo wagons (V40-70) have built in boosters, have done for yonks.
Older V70s also have factory built in ****ie seats.
Check each one out, some have centre booster only, some have one on both sides.

I have a 97 V70, with a centre booster. With it up, I would easily get two rear facing capsules in the car as well. With it down, using proper car seats, I could get 3 across the back, depending on the seat.

thanks ladies. Sounds like I need to go and investigate the smaller Volvos - the Dodge is much too big for what we're after. A car with a booster each side would be brilliant

Pity there's no such thing as a Mazda 3 or a Honda Civic with them, although I wasn't really expecting that to be the case.

    Cars with inbuilt boosters

My SIL and BIL have a Dodge (a Journey I think?) and it has built in boosters.
