Red face We Might Have Found A Car

Everyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep your fingers crossed for us we might finally have found a car.

After tossing up between a Prado, Kluger and the Captiva we still couldn't decide but last night DP found a 2008 Kluger for a decent price, looks like it's in great condition.
It's silver and very pretty it's not the Grande but right now it's a good price and it looks really neat anyway.

So wish me luck, i'm going for a test drive today and possibly leaving a deposit or cheque ohhh exciting.

Thanks hun, the funniest part is i don't care what i get aslong as it's BIG and i don't have to duck into a car to put the kids in.
Am hoping if we like it we can organise a cheque, they can finalise their roadworthy and we could have it by next week.. SQUEAL!

I have a Toyota landcruiser and love it for that exact reason. You don't have to duck and haul a kid into it, you just plonk them in! So much nicer on your back. Can't go wrong with a Toyota either. Mines never missed a beat! Good luck!

We bought a 2009 KXR model Kluger when we found out about the twins and we love love love love it! Its so nice to drive, and spacious and flexible in terms of seating arrangements and a/c temperatures and stuff, it has the reversing camera (which I admittedly rely on a bit too much!), and it even has this wee mirror you can flip down so you can see the entire backseat and whats going on! It really is the perfect family car. Plus its big enough without being cumbersome to drive like a Land Cruiser or Patrol. It can be a bit thirsty around town but on the open road its really fuel efficient for a 3.5L. I don't know what the 2008 model is like exactly but I can't imagine it being too different to ours.

I wouldn't trade it for the world and will drive it to the death! I hope you love it and put down that deposit, I'm excited for you

I LOVE this about the DH's Prado too. It's so easy to keep an eye on the little ones of they are sleeping. And Toyotas are pretty cheap to service ATM too. Fixed price servicing and it's quick too.

    Good luck ZF

Yup! At the moment I only use it for the dogs but once bubbas arrive there will be nowhere to hide ! And we just got ours serviced (18month service) and it was $175 and will stay at that price until we hit 80,000km (which for us is a long time away!), including the major service at 50,000km.

    Drove it, LOVE IT!
it's pretty much in mint condition, roomy, everything we need.
Her DH was busy at work so couldn't agree on the price so waiting for DP to speak with him and if all goes well I will have a new car next week
