    Ford territory/Toyota Kluger

eventually within the next 6-12 months (PLEEEEEEASE!!) i really want to get rid of my car because it's terrible. i really like the look of the territory's or kluger's, and DH was saying he would like some kind of 4wd/SUV. But where we live is pretty rural, it's about 30 mins to the local shops, so we would go through a lot of petrol.

can anyone tell me who has one, roughly how much it costs to fill, and how many k's you would get out of a tank? like my car at the moment has a 50lt tank, costs about $62 to fill and i get just under 500k's with a tank.....TIA, just want to know if it's worth us getting a car like this, or if they will be too bad on fuel.....

I have a 2004 Territory. It's a 70ltr tank and with just day to day driving we get around 500kms. I'm a pretty gentle driver, if DH drives it, we get a lot less! It is costing a fortune to fill at the moment. Last time I filled up it cost me $92. It does well on highways, get a bit more out of a tank. There is a diesel territory being released this month if you're aiming for a brand new car. HTH.

we have the territory 2011 limited edition and it does eat up the fuel, round canberra driving we are getting around 12.5km per litre but it is better on the open road. My brother has the kluger and he gets about the sae economy
