Who else just LOVES their car?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my car!!!! (I'm a bit of a closet rev head)
It's not brand new... but meh. It's my baby!
    I have a Ford Fairlane G220.
Dark blue with tinted windows, black leather interior, all elecs, sunroof and once we've moved (cos I'm in the sticks on a dirt road) we are getting some 20inch Chromies for it! OMG I'm such a car geek these days!

I LOVE my car. It's a v8 and Hubs has put a new (LOUD) exhaust on it.... I worry about when I will get pulled over!
I really love my car because from the outside with the rims that I have now.... it is stock standard and just looks like a nanna mobile. BUT, sit next to me at a set of lights when I'm in a racy mood and I'll show you who the granny is! haha. (I don't speed, I just get up to speed quicker than most other cars which is more about the power of my car than the stupidity of the driver).

I used to sorta think cars were ok... but nothing like I am now. Hubs is a FORD nut, and I've totally gone with him. I don't mind watching a bit of car racing, I try and learn a little about what's under the hood, and I've done a few spear the spud comps in my time at SpringNats.

Is anyone else a bit of a rev head?
    What do you drive?

Me. I didn't when I got her because DH sold my little car and gave me his car but now I've grown accustomed to her and she rocks.

I'm going to get her some iPod compatability because that's the only thing I don't love - she has a CD stacker not an iPod dock.

She's not very dolphin friendly but I forgive her.

    ME!!

I LOVE my little 4 cylinder honda civic...she is nearl 20years old, and has lots of sentlemental value (having been my nans) but she is such a little trooper and puts up with alot of **** from me (taking her places that i really shouldnt including dirt roads and off road =P) and she is still going!!

we recently got ourselves a truck! its a '86 Ford F100, and oh it is hot!! V8, and once DH is through with it it will go so hard (harder than it already is)

DH is a Ford nut and has owned alot of sexy cars, including a XB he unfortuantly had to sell early in our relationship, but he built it (he builds moters as a hobby)

my dream car is actually a Deloran, oh i would kill for one of them...but i cant see me ever getting one =( as there arent many left...and even less down under.

(the older the car the better...i dont like new cars)

sorry im typing this pretty fast cause i have to go to work, so might add to it later when i have more time =)

    but YAY FOR REV HEADS!!!!

Teirae, I love that you want a Delorian LOL.

I love our car too. I know it's a newer model car, but its ours and I love it. I loved DH's first car too - a HQ Holden Kingswood that his grandmother gave him once she couldn't drive anymore. he put mag wheels on it and OMG it was a hot car. We used to do all sorts of things in it I also loved my first car - a 1986 red Holden Barina that went like a dog shot in the arse LOL. It was such an awesome little car, and I could fill it up with fuel for $25 and it would last me the week!! And because it only had 12 inch wheels on it, whenever I'd take it for new tyres the bloke would always call it my Limosine ROFL.

    I heart my car.

09 VE SS Sportwagon in Ignition (orange) - obviously V8.. We used to have an 06 model, same colour, only in a sedan.

This ain't no soccer mom wagon, she's lowered with bigger brake option, Pacemaker extractors, custom exhaust (sounds like a real V8 should, none of this toned down/quieter to meet emissions/noise pollution stuff), cold air intake. We did put a cam in it for a while, but it was a little too harsh on the tyres and gear changes were a bit too agressive with DD in the car. Have a few colour coded genuine customised extra's in the interior. Recently got some flashy LED headlights too.

She's not too bad for a family truckster. Oh, I also used to have my Homer Simpson plates on it, you know the ones with "mmm....donuts" on them

We have a SSV!...except ours is white, cause DH didn't want one the same colour as anyone else in town has. I actually like the white now, so it worked out well... Dh and I argue over what to do to the car. BIG argument last week because he wants to do stuff and i told him that after he spent $600 on cold air intakes, then exhaust then taking it to Brissie for a custom $1000 tune cause the cold air upset the computer on the car, (he also got them to smooth the gearbox out with the tune) I told him no more...He has his supercharged toy in the backyard, he can go and spend money on it...leave my car alone now lol..

    Me toooooo

My big black beast! I loves it very very much.

Like Onyx the only thing I want is uconnect for my iPod and then it's perfect.

It goes fast, it's comfy, it's got lots of gadgets and it looks like a beast rather than a suburban mummy wagon.

It is affectionately as the "Black Chariot" and also the "Posse Wagon"

I love my car too but it isn't a "hoon mobile" Its a toyota Landcruiser.. We just got more pretties on it too and I love it. Standard mags so nothing fancy there but it has a rear wheel carrier now, snorkel and long range tank. New pretties this month will hopefully be new bullbar and winch (getting the car ready for our Cape Yorn trip)

I would love a 200 series but I don't like the $$ they want and I really love my car.. oh and its black and when Dh polishes it all up its so super shiny hehee

Yay, someone with a black car who actually looks after it. If a super shiny black cruiser ever catches my eye around Gladdy, I'll just assume it's yours!

I'm too lazy to look after my car. I just take it to the car wash when it starts to look a bit scruffy.

I love my old car! An R34 GTR Skyline... If you know anything about Japanese Sports Imports, you'll know this is the king.. Twin Turbo all wheel drive coupe.. Super Fast and Sexy As! I miss her so much. Had quite a few imports in my life, Skylines, Supras etc but gave them up when bubba came along.. Sold my GTR just one month before Cruz was born, now in a Mazda 6 but thinking about getting one of the new Territory's soon... I'll always miss my Geets though!

I'm a detailer (aka slave labour), so I feel obliged to look after my own car. But after cleaning cars all day, it's the last thing I feel like doing after work.

    Yeah I am.

I won't be stalking you, promise. We're the only orange wagon around here, so if you see it...we don't drive 'like that' all the time, I swear lol.
