DNA tests
sorry this is prob in the wrong spot but i didnt knwo where to put it so please move it if you haev to mods.
my bro has 2 kids but he really doesnt think the youngest is his and neither do alot of other people.
is it possible for him to get a DNA test done without the childs mother knowing. they r spilt.

I'd say he'd need her permission, but I'm pretty sure he could get a court order so she has no choice but to do it.

No you don't need the mothers DNA. If he wants the child matched with him he needs to provide swabs and so does the child. I don't think he needs the mothers permission if he does it when he has the child in his care. On a visit etc. I might be wrong - but I don't think it requires both parents consent.

did a bit of research and yeah the mother doesnt need to know,
He just thought ya needed the medicare card btu you cant claim anythign back anyways.

Paternity is not a medical issue, so medicare doesn't cover it.

That's right Sassy you cannot claim medicare as this is a legal issue not a medical one. It costs I believe about $1500.
