Months ago I enquired at centrelink how much I'd be entitled to receive of Family Tax benefit A and B. At the time as I had received a large sum of maintanence they said this would impact on what I'd be entitled to (I'd elected to get anything I was entitled to at the end of this financial year)

So I call again yesterday and they said maintanence has nothing to do with how much Family Tax benefit I'm entitled to. So one call person has said one thing whilst the other said the exact opposite. Does anyone know who is right?
