    Question CCB questions

I have always claimed CCB at a 0% rate (to get CCR) as I didn't think we met the income threshold. After reading a newspaper article this morning, I realised we may qualify for a small fee reduction? My 3rd child was born in April which raised the threshold to $175K - we are definitely under that and should be again this financial year? I have never provided income estimates as I assumed we weren't eligible, however it also looks like we were eligible the 2012/13 financial year as well as we were under the $155k for two children? Was I supposed to tell CL? I assumed they got our tax returns and paid if we were eligible? I know I can't lodge a claim as it's too late, but how about the year just finished? We'd definitely qualify from April 9 when #3 was born. We receive no other payments.

    Any assistance/guidance appreciated

    Re: CCB questions

We only ever do a lump sump claim at the end of the financial year as mine & DH income changes fortnightly by hundreds so I never claim fortnightly so I don't risk raising a debt with FAO.
On the Centrelink website you can fill out a form to make a claim on the last financial year. It wouldn't hurt to give them a call as you may be able to lodge a claim for the last two years.
I found out last year when I did my claim that there is a large family supplement once you have 3 kids that you may be entitled to a portion of.
    good luck.

    Re: CCB questions

Thanks Liviam I've just played around on the estimators and though I have 3 children in my care, because they are not all "in care" DD doesn't count but she will when I go back to work in January next year. It looks like I will get 10.99% of CCB for the second half of this financial year, which I'll do a bulk claim for. We aren't eligible for FTB so no supplements
