Income cutoff for FTB... looking at going back to work.

    Hi there!
I was just wondering if anyone happened to know what the cutoff was for income when it comes to FTB payments. I'm looking at getting a job to help support my family, but trying to work out if it's worth it financially.

How much do I have to earn before my payments are affected a little? And how much as a family do we have to earn before all payments cease? We're currently pretty close to maximum FTB payments as far as I'm aware.

    Thanks in advance.

Can't offer any advice, but I was going to ask the same question. So waiting for answers with you.

Are you registered for online services (the family assist website)? You can enter in all the hypotheticals yourself and determine what you'd be entitled to. You just need your partner's income and then what you will earn (as well as rent if that applies to you). We calculate ours this way, it's much easier than phoning!

Please don't quote me (!) but I think ftb b payments cutoff completely at about $100k.

Thanks I might try again..... I have absolutely no idea what casual rates are these days for retail work, so it would be a huge guesstimate.

the income cut offs vary depending on the number of children and the ages of your children. The income limits for FTB A and FTB B can be found on the website, or you can use the estimator as previously suggested.

we get zero dollars and earned 90 000 last financial year and I estimated correctly and still zero so I think it is quite low for a combined income
