I guess this is one side of the floods people don't think of, but the wonderful BG is at work today and finding things exceptionally hard.
Her request: If you can do any centrelink stuff online, do so. Only call the call centres if it's absolutely essential and can't be done through online services.
Centrelink has two call centres closed and a heap of others are only taking flood calls, so man power is down, calls are up and extremely upsetting and stressful for those on the phones.
And here's a shout out for BG and others working in similar areas - you are doing an amazing and fantastic job under the circumstances, hang in there.
