just on the c section thing you can only get a medicare rebate if it was a botched job or got infected and there is severe scarring. If it was a normal c section with a normal scar and no adhesions etc you dont qualify for a rebate......sorry to burst your bubble mazzy moo!
My SIL was told she can get one because of the botched job they did on her when her first was born in the US..... the scar has to be classed as disfiguring before you qualify......
Hmm I think mine's disfigured enough AND I scored the post-op infection too so maybe I'm still in with a chance! The GP did mention future plastic surgery to me at the time...but for now I'll just ignore The Flap and enjoy my Krudd Krissmas Spending!:

I have no idea what I'm spending the money on. We don't need a new tv, washing machine or anything as they're all new.
Maybe I should spend it on paint and stuff to start renovating our house??
Well we don't actually get ours till after we do our tax next year so we have a looooong time to think about it. Anyway its a good thing cause we are thinking about buying a new house after the financial year so it will be good to have a little bit of money just in case we need it at that time.
Nikki
why doesn't everyone with kids get it?? i hope i get it. I saw on today tonight they were asking ppl what they were spending the 1000 on. Alot were saying maybe jewellery, clothes. i thought if ppl say things like that we will never get it again because they government will think we'll use it for the wrong reasons. The ppl that use it for the right reasons miss out then. It's sad if ppl use it on drugs and alcohol. What can you do. We can only make the most of it when we get. If i get it it will go towards bills and xmas presents
OH MY I GOT IT
well i was told because did not get fortnightly repayments ( i get a lump sum at the end of the financial year) i would not get the money till i do my next tax return.
Well last night DH checked our account and his face was absolute shock and i was like i have not spent any money so it can't be me lol always guilty
And we got our money yeah:clap: i can go christmas shopping and pay off our cc he he
Very happy
Nikki
The goverment has told people to spend spend spend.. The money is to supposedly boost the economy.
We won't be getting it again as it is a one off payment.
We won't get it. Missed out by a few days (earnt too much last year).
If we had got it, I would have paid some off the mortgage and the rest straight into savings.
The spend it to help is hog wash. It's a circle that keeps going round. I'm off that band wagon.
I hope the ones who have got it enjoy. You all deserve it.
Hugs
Debbie
I dont' know what we will spend it on yet - for now it is on term deposit, but we will have some big expenses next year, so I would like to save it till then (like buying bunks for the boys and other items etc) as the economy will still be struggling.
