I was told it is because of my ex new gfs son who has a severe behaviour issues he is grade 5 and been expelled from P/school and has no regard for authority at all.
My ex dh told me yestaerday that this little treasure NOT had been caught wanting to really hurt our two little ones in 'play' time on xmas night .... he was caught having both my boys in head locks to strangle them .... My ex heard and took prompt action and from all the other stories he rang me and told me and promised me that the little boy will not be living with him (and he said if that means him and the boys mum seperate so be it) or be aloud time with our boys un supervised as he is NOT SAFE at all.... other stories is this 10 yr old caught masterbating at school been caught stealing using foul language being a total little idiot ... DHS is involved and now the little boy has been taken to his extended family indefinitely as i told ex i dont want him living with him when he has our two .... ex agreed as obviously ex dh wants to see his own kids....
NOw i know the cause and it has been taken away the next step is to get my 4 yr old to talk to someone professionaly and get him back to being our nice well behaved child with the normal temper tantrums and hopefully the meltdowns and disrespecful behaviour will disappear...
( i know it has been detrimental to my two but i so love karma what goes around comes around tenfold ) but i do have to give credit where credit is due at least my kids father loves our kids to bits (he is just a lousy husband)
Well, while I'm glad you have an answer for your son's change in behaviour, I really hope this other lad gets the help he so obviously needs. He's what ... 10, 11 years of age? From what you've described the poor kid needs medical/psychiatric assistance.
It must be reassuring for you that your ex is committed to and invested in your children's safety. Hope your son's behaviour starts to improve.
