Rough housing - hitting - were do you draw the line???

I have to be very careful with WIlhelm as he can soak up things better than a Viva paper towel and he's taken to hitting Vyolett and I lately and in an agressive manner.

So my question is....were do you draw the line in rough housing and play fight within children?

    Do you have boundries?

What do you do when that line is crossed?

We have a TOTAL no hitting rule. I think it easier for kids to understand no hitting then it is for they to understand its okay to hit sometimes than get in trouble for it at others times. Plus someone always gets hurt. If someone hits ect they get time out here. It seems to work. We rarely have a issue with it now.
I hope it improves for you soon.

As you know Maz we've got the 5 boys and with the testostrone flying around like no tomorrow we end up having a few scuffles. I got told by a GP that just to let them sort it out themselves, but I usually step in when I can see it going from mucking around to serious, just by the look on their faces.

    I hope that made sense.

    hugs xoxo
