Will this ever end I cant take the fighting anymore
My girls HATE & DESPISE each other no word of a lie they cant even stand to look at each other, they are 22 months apart and all they do is fight & punch on I cannot take much more, DH is a truck driver so i literally do this on my own, yes i know there are lots of single mums out there and good on you guys but I cant do this anymore im ready to run, Heres an example
MONI "GIVE ME MY SOCK" MIAH "I DONT HAVE IT GET OUT OF MY SIGHT I WISH YOU WERNT MY SISTER" MONI " IM DOBBING" MIAH " I DONT CARE" MONI *WHACK* MIAH "OUCH" *WHACK* ...Welcome to a typical 5mins in my house, this goes on the whole time they are together
They are so nasty to each other & it doesnt stop there, they are rude to me they dont listen to me their room is discusting even after I have taken every item off them that they own they still manage to turn it into a pig sty, I literally cant stand them at the moment im about done, you have no idea
Sounds like a variation on what i get .... but it is one-sided in my house. DD#1 bangs on about how much she hates her little sister and how we should never have had more kids and DD#2 is always ruining her stuff blah blah ... while DD#2 is very very upset that she just wants to play with her big sister and she wikes her and DD#1 is being mean and stupid
Need to fatten the baby up some more, teach him to crawl and walk and talk and hopefully big sister won't seem so interesting when there is a little brother to play with. The solution here found itself but won't work for you - DD#1 just spends lots of time visiting her friends, in a comfortable little sister free zone, and we stay home with the little one in screamless, argument-free bliss.
I'm sorry I can't help. I wish I had some magical solution to make things better.
At the moment I'm going through some challenging behaviour with my eldest. I couldn't imagine having 2 carrying on like him.
I really feel for you. How do you handle school holidays and weekends? I feel like school is my saviour most of the time lately. oh my gosh!
To me it sounds like typical behaviour - my sister and I are 18 months aprts and we are very different in personality. She is a very strong personality, whereas I am more easy going, keep the peace. She is a clan & neat freak, I am a little messy. We fought alot during our teenage years. The fighting was mainly verbal but occassionally physically. The verbal 'I wish you weren't my sister' is for maximum hurt factor....Whilst some siblings can't stand each other, most just say hurtful/nasty words for maximum impact. I am not sure how old your DD's are though. Do they share a bedroom? We did and it was a nightmare! At one time my sister put a line in the middle of the room so I didn't go on her side! lol Perhaps try putting them in seperate rooms/our of each others way so they have minimal interaction with each other.
