This is my first cycle after losing my son at 22wks in April. This is also my first time charting. According to FF I haven't O'd this cycle. I feel like AF is arriving any minute now. Any thoughts?
Am not sure that I can tell you anything that you don't already know, but yes it's possibly (and maybe even likely?) that you'll have an anovulatory cycle so soon after a loss. Your body just takes a little while to re-establish it's hormonal balance. Keep up with the charting though, sending you lots of
i'm not too up to speed with this charting thing, but to me it looks like youmay have Oed at CD16, i'm not too sure why FF hasnt given your chart a coverline. have you thought about doing a hpt test? let us know how you go.
Thank you SJH and Hollo. I'll collect the but I'm not TTC yet. Our loss is so recent, I'm keeping myself sane with the thought of having another baby next year, but not right now.
I've never charted before and the naturopath I'm seeing suggested I do it so she can identify any hormonal balances. I think the fact that my temp doesn't go up after ovulation (if I O'd at all) indicates that I have low progesterone or something. I'll see her in a few weeks and will show her my chart.
hey hammi... sorry for your loss... i ttc before having af after my missed mc, but i o'd late & missed the chance. after having my first af on march 21, i o'd late again & am now expecting af to show up tomorrow even while we bd around o day ... my cycle is usually 28 days from being on the pill - stopped end 2007.. after the mc d&c this cycle has been really long.. i know mc can stuff your cycle up.. i dont know if this would be the case as you lost your little boy at such a late stage it could be that you will o late as i did... never know, if you want to start ttc, then i suggest keep dtd every other day from the week after af until the time af is expected... oh and ff doesnt show that you've o'd unless you have 3 higher temps after oing... hope i've helped somewhat... & when you decide to ttc, please join us at the ttcaftermc/loss thread!
