Cervical Mucus question.....

Hi guys

I know this is probably a strange question but its something i am still learning about and i dont think i have seen a thread about this yet. I have done a bit of research but got alot of different answers.

Basically in the last month i have been very dry and had no cervial mucus apart from yesterday when i was getting a sort of white milky mucus discharge. I had intercourse last night and now it has gone. It definitely was not egg white like, like when you ovulate, but i dont think i have ever noticed my body having this sort of mucus. My question is why would i be getting this mucus? I have been dry since the termination which was 23 days ago (actually i had one day with a tiny bit of discharge which was the same texture) and yesterday was the only day i have had a discharge.

Bit confused what it would have been for....

I never noticed alot of EWCM. The cycle i did fall PG, I noticed a little on 1 day, 2 days before estimated Ov. I was not temping that cycle, so may have Ov early. When I had D&C it was 6 weeks before I got AF, I didn't notice much CM of any kind.

I also dont notice much CM - maybe some of us are less mucousy LOL!!!I dont know how the termination would affect it, but i could imagine it woudl affect it?? sorry not much help there
I know i mentioned to my chinese dr that i dont get a lot of CM and this is someting she is looking to help me with - esp EWCM around O to help the little swimmers!
i find it all really interesting now i am taking notice of all the body chgs thru the cycle

I read somewhere the other day that not everybody gets EWCM..what you really really need to look for is very slippery mucous...as if it is thick and sticky the sperm can't get through it.

v interesting Rachel - must say what i have notices is not v much CM at all - chinese dr gave me new herbs today and upped the dosage of my others so hoping i notice more this cycle.

Well yesterday i noticed lots of external white egg whitle like CM and the previous 2 days i just had a little bit of white CM so i figured i must be fertile if i have the white stretchy CM but when i noticed it was when i went to the toilet, and after i went to the toilet the CM never came back i had sex that night but there was no CM present again and also it has not returned today so bit worried i have missed the egg
