    Cervix Question TMI

ok i am trying to chart and am checking my cervix position everyday, sometimes a few times a day as i want to pin point ovulation to try the O+12 method.
Now my understanding is that when your cervix is high(hard to reach) you are going to ovulate, and when it is low (easy to reach) you are either befor or after ovulation,

    is this correct?

On checking my cervix every day this cycle (im on cd18) it has been high but i have had no ewcm and i havent had any ovulation pain so im tipping i havent ovulated.
last moth was my first month charting and i ovulated on cd15 and had a 26 day cycle so i thought i would ovulate on cd15 this time as well but i didnt.

Is it normal to have your cervix high throught your whole cycle?

Is it normal not to ovulate some cycles?

Your cervix will change position during the day. Therefore it is best to check it once, at the same time every day. Some women (me included) stop checking after ovulation is established, because it can introduce germs. My cervix stays high for a few days before and after ovulation, and slowly drops down to a low position before AF arrives.

Charting your BBT is much more accurate at confirming ovulation than following CM and CP and ovulation pains. Ovulation pains are the least accurate!

Your cervix should change position during your cycle. Healthy women occaisonally have an anovulatory cycle. Maybe one or two a year. HTH!
