Has this happened to anyone?

hi i am a 24 yr old female and i had unprotected sex on wednesday 4th 2007 and i was becoming fertile on friday 6th 2007 and was ovulating on 9th april 2007. Has this happened to anyone else and had gotten pregnant on a unfertile day? My cycle is thirty five days. I have been off the pill for nine to ten months. I'm just curious thats all. Thank you.

How can you be sure of your fertile period? Have you been previously charting or using OPK's? My experience is that I O on different days each cycle, close to the same day, but there is always a chance of being one or two days out of my expected O date.

Hi Kirsten,
Sperm can live in the cervix for about 3 days too...so if you BD on 4th there could have been sperm waiting until 7-8th?

I believe some sperm can survive up to six days. If a woman's vaginal fluids/CM is conducive to it. So it is possible to concieve if you DTD within a few days of O'ing. I also find I O on different days. Checking out my charts will show that. Since my cyst has gone and I am "back to normal", I have O'd around day 14, but not consistently on any day so you may find you O'd early and caught it. I'd wait till you are due and if AF is late, test..... Best of luck hon!
