Ok, so I am obsessing , but can any of you lovely ladies please take a look at my chart and tell me if my post ovulation temps are onsidered too low to support a pregnancy? I am driving myslf insane with worry. Can't contact my ob for an appointment as a matter of fact, I don't really know what to discuss with him. Should I be concerned? Been TTC since oct 07. have had 4 "normal" cycles ( within 35-48 days as compared to 120 days), am ovulating as per my FF chart - but no BFP
What would you girls do? Consider clomid? Am so sick of waiting! Any replies will help.
TIA.
Thanks for replying AJP. This TWW is soo.. hard arrrggghh! General trend in my chart is downward, so am very depressed. But I guess I should wait and see - only it's so hard
I don't think I would be worried about the actual temps as there is a clear shift on the day you O and they stay above the coverline. I can understand your frustration - ttc is a journey of unbelievable highs & lows. My cycles were a little all over the place and I got a referral from my GP to see an ob/gyn. I was also getting a few days of spotting before af actually started. I think I just went to him and said I was having trouble falling pregnant and he did a few tests & we went from there. Although I don't have pcos or any other conditions affecting ovulation, he actually put me on clomid just to give my hormones a helping hand (have always O'd on my own). I fell pg with this Bub on second cycle of clomid. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you want to, I don't regret it. Good luck, sending bucket loads of baby dust your way.
My FS said its not the actual temps that they look at but the pattern and shifts. That looks pretty good though I would wonder if the shift is a little slow...? Mine looked a bit like that, a definate shift but my FS said it was a bit slow to rise.
Thanks guys. I think it's time for a chat with the ob. I feel stupid asking him such questions though Don't even know how he'd take the charting thing. Had my first appointment with him in Apr when he put me on metformin and then sent me away to try for 6 months before coming back!
belle - my Ob actually recommended that I start charting so don't hold back asking questions or even mentioning charting. It's old fashioned and every Ob will have their own take on it but no harm in mentioning it.
I always say that only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask.
ok.. so have printed out my FF charts to take to the ob. His rooms are closed today but calling tomorrow to get an appointment asap. Thanks for the encouragement girls. Take care xx
