    spotting vs AF

This is my first cycle of charting (yay!), but I'm after some advice about what is considered spotting and what is considered AF... TMI warning LOL!

So yesterday I wore a liner and had a bit of brownish CM. When checking CP there was red blood 'up there', but all day all that came out was brownish CM until about 8pm when I went to the loo and some blood went in the loo (sorry, I warned tmi!), and also when I wiped, red blood on paper. Still nothing on the liner though until this morning and it is definately AF!

So what I'm getting at is should I put yesterday as Light AF and therefore CD1? or spotting for yesterday and CD1 today? And does it really matter? I'm taking clomid and supposed to take it CD5-9.

    Thanks in advance!

First day of full flow is considered to be CD1, so I'd class today as CD1 and yesterday as spotting.
