New to charting with irregular cycles- I need help!!

I'll try to make a long story short! I have PCOS and since coming off the pill have not had a period (months now). I started on metformin about a month ago and have noticed some changes so I thought I'd start charting.

My question is how do I make my chart represent that I've only just started charting but no menses?? Eg. I started entering data on 3rd September because I had EWCM (which I don't think I've had up 'til now) but my chart is saying that day is CD1 and I had menses. Is there a way to fix it, or do I just have to put up with a funny looking first cycle chart??

I hope this makes sense! Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi Peekay,
Have you tried going to 'Data' in the menu on the left hand side, then clicking start new cycle? This takes you to a screen that asks for a cycle start date.

Thanks for your help. I couldn't work it out so I deleted and started a new one saying that I had AF on 1st August. It's not true, but more true than just a few days ago! I'm not relying on this info, but just thought it was a good time to start charting.

I'm hopeful that something is happening though b/cause of metformin. On Tuesday I had so much EWCM I felt wet (sorry for TMI) and uncomfortable all day from it. It felt like I'd wet my pants! I've also had some slight cramping on my right side (I know this can be other things too though) but then last night, I noticed my nipples were tender to touch and still are this morning. I've NEVER had this before! I don't know if any of these are signs of ovulation, AF, or side effects from metformin but to me these are changes I've never experienced and so am excited at ANYTHING that is different! Sad I know!
