Ok this is probably a really stupid question but why do you have to temp in the morning? Wouldn't your temp be raised even at night, so for example if you are usually 36.1 at night wouldn't it be 36.9 if you are ovulating? wouldn't your average temp go up accross the board?
I only ask because I temp at night and in the morning and the temps are pretty steady and I have a REALLY bad tendency to forget first thing in the morning when I'm all sleepy and cranky pants....
Walking around and doing things, eating etc changes your temps. Mine is much lower during the day, mid 35's. In the mornings it is your resting temp and much more accurate. My temps in the morning is usually 36.2 - 36.6 depending on whether it's post or pre ovulation. Your temp will be higher after you've ovulated.
I forget as well. I have a digital thermometer that remembers the last temperature recorded. So, I take my temp in the morning, and then check it when I get home and am fully awake, LOL.
It must be your waking temp that is recorded, definately not your evening temp.
