    Breastfeeding while charting

    Hi guys,
I used to chart back in 2003 when I was TTC#1 but have just come off the mini-pill and started charting again with a cosleeping, breastfeeding 2-year-old. He tends to stir and want a feed right around when I'm supposed to be taking my temp. Does anyone know if breastfeeding while hanging a themometer out of my mouth is going to stuff up my readings?
I don't want to set an alarm tp take my readings and risk waking him up - although I guess he'll just get used to the big glass thing hanging out of my mouth if I perservere.

Can you quickly take your temp before you get up to him as then it will be affected by your walking about.
If you co sleep and it's not much effort to feed him then I can't see it as being a problem though I would be inclinded to take your temp ASAP and not wait till you've been awake for a while.

    HTH.
