What does ovulation feel like?

I'm not trying to get UTD but I thought this would be the best place to post. I think it's when I ovulate, only on one side, it is quite painful, like a really bad stitch kind of pain. It coincides with when ovulation is due and doesn't happen every month (seems I can't feel it on the left). Is this pain ok? Or should I see a doctor? I'm not really concerned and hate to go to the gp if it's normal, but just wanted to see if others can feel their ovulation.

Yep it's normal, I only ever feel it on the one side also.
