    3 or 6hrs?

I am enrolling DD1 in 3yr old kinder and was given the option of enrolling her for 3 or 6hrs a week.

    Was wondering what everyone thinks.
They said it's roughly $150 per term for 3hrs and obviously double for more, is it worth the extra money at this age.

Personally i think she could really use that extra stimulation, she's a clever little cookie (thus 3yr old kinder) but i'm not sure if it's 'worth' the extra cash.

    Anyone???

I'm going through the same thing right now with ds.

Personally, I'm going to do the six hours. I think my ds needs that stimulation and socialization.

If you think your dd is ready and will benefit, go for it.

id do 6 hours, are they 2x3hr classes?
we had 2x2hr classes last year and tbh it was a pain, 2 hours isnt enough time to get much done before you have to go back and pick them up!

I think Id start with the 3 hrs, then increase it if you feel she needs the extra.

I think if we choose the 3hrs she has to stay with the 3hrs, places are filling fast around here and i don't know if there would be a spot for her to move up to the 6hrs.

A girl i see at the library is possibly enrolling her son at the same kinder, i might ask how long she is putting him in for, maybe they can be in the same kinder class?

if it is 2 x 3 hours sessions, then i would go the 6 hours.

but if it is 1 x 6 hour session, then i would just go the 3.

    does that make any sense?

my ds1 goes for 2 x 2hour sessions and it is great. he looks forward to it and asks when he is going again so i don't think one session a week would be enough.

    DD1 goes to 2 x 3hr sessions a week.
She loves it & i don't think one session a week would be enough for her.

Thanks ladies, we went and had a look today, she actually cried when we left, she wanted to play with the kids and was upset she didn't get a kinder bag.
