Question Feeding to sleep at childcare

I start back at work on Monday & I've had DS2 in childcare for 4 days (once a week) already. He doesn't go to sleep easily there & he's fed to sleep at home. I've been taking him in after his morning sleep, but now I'm back at work it'll have to be before from now on. I have been bfing him before I leave & am thinking if he hasn't slept he may fall asleep when I do this. However, I'm concerned that if I put him in the cot & leave that when he wakes its a big shock & Mummy hasn't said goodbye.

    Am I overthinking? WWYD?

will he take a bottle to go to sleep- like could you express some bm and then put it in one of those tommee tippee closer to nature bottles so that he could almost 'feed to sleep' with it?

I personally wouldn't only because when he wakes up he might get a shock to find that he isn't in his own bed, plus you aren't there. I second the bottle feed, mine took a while to sleep well at creche but I think it would be better for them to sort it at CC with a bottle and settling techniques. Both of mine go to sleep being patted there and not at home!

He won't take a bottle, I give him EBM in a soft spout cup for the day. DS1 took the bottle at CC and was patted to sleep relitively easily, DS2 is a different boy in that regards!
