Not for profit/Community based child care in Camberwell, Melbourne

Hi,

We have just moved from Perth to Melbourne and I'm currently looking for child care centres in our area (Camberwell East area). My DS went to a fabulous not for profit centre in Perth so I'm thinking I'd like to try and stick with a not for profit here as well (although if anyone has had a really good experience with a privately owned centre that's ok too). Does anyone have any suggestions/opinions on quality child care centres around my area? I understand that the waiting lists will probably be huge (so I've been told) but I want to get his name down as soon as possible.

My DD has just started at Through Road ChildCare Centre in Camberwell. I was recommended it by another BellyBelly member. Though you're right, waiting lists are rather long, it's worth putting his name down.
