What kind of childcare do you use?

Centre? FDC? Family? are there any other types of missed???

I'm desperately trying to find CC for the girls but everyone i have met so far i haven't liked for many reasons. Open to other suggestions.

DD1 goes to a preschool program at a daycare centre. I chose that as they have the best program for her and their fees are cheaper than community ones.
DD2 goes to family daycare. She's younger, and I don't like the idea of her getting 'lost' at daycare. It's really cheap (I only pay $10 a day) and her carer is fantastic.

Mine go to a centre, it was new when they started out pretty small. They really try and keep the same staff and the owners are lovely and were very helpful when I was on bed rest they did their best to take the girls on extra days.

Because the girls are so close in age they often get to play together which is great and they let them go see each other if they are upset.

My DD is in DC 3 days a week. The centre she is at are fantastic. They are a big centre, but divided into small rooms of a maximum of 15 children. All the children in her room are within 4 months old of each other. The carers are fantastic as are the admin staff. The program that they run is very educational and my DD loves it.

Good luck finding somewhere you like, I know how hard the search can be.

Pie started out in FDC, then we used a combination of both, now she is just in LDC while her FDC carer is on maternity leave.

Good luck, I hope you find someone you like soon.
