No more fee reduction for holidays

I dont know if anyone else has heard of this one.....
we normally get 50% reduction in fees when we give 2 weeks notice for Caitlyn not going to daycare for holiday reasons.
recently we got a letter from the centre saying that due to advice given to them from the government that the fee reduction will now only be $4 per day!! so i am paying pretty much full fees while we are on holidays.....
has anyone else had this?? Should i be questioning this with one of the many government departments??
am NOT impressed!! may as well unenroll her and put her on the waiting list to go back in when we get back if we go on a 2 week holiday!!

We dont get any fee reduction for holidays no matter how much notice is given.
We also pay full fees for gazetted public holidays even though the centre is not open - if its your normal day you pay.

Our Daycare is the same as Pandora's no fee reduction for holidays, and you have to pay for public holidays even though the centre is not open.

Ours is the same as Pandora's plus if we add a day as a one-off extra we pay the normal rate PLUS another 10% ($80/day up to $88/day) - even though the reason they can fit in is that someone else is on holidays (for which they receive a fee already).

So if they fill a spot vacated due to the regular attendee taking holidays, they make $168 instead of $80.

We're the same as the others. The director at Nina's daycare said that it is at their discretion if they choose to give the reduction while the child is on holidays. Nina only goes 2 days a week so it's never really been a concern for us.
