    So peeved with DS1's daycare

I am not impressed with Ds1's daycare anymore and am so glad that be is off to school next year. Since they have been bought out last year, I feel they have gone down hill. They have lost a lot of good staff and have brought in a lot of young ones.

To top it off, the local school does a prep transition program for children attending the school next year. I put DS1's name down for a certain day - all of this was to be sorted and to the school by last Friday, Monday I get a call asking if DS1 is going to so n so n if I wanted him in the program. Mt reply was yes and I spoke to you about it when I put his name on the form. Her reply is oh I've been a bit slack. I go there today to find the list and DS isn't even on the day I had him down originally. I think that is the final straw.

I was contemplating putting DS2 in next year but am going to look elsewhere. I do have a few very close to us but am just upset that it has come to this as I really did like it at the beginning but am also lucky that it has happened at the end of DS's time to be there.

Sounds like they have no idea & I think it is wise to not bother using that childcare centre for your other child. I know my gf contemplated taking out her two DS for ages, eventually bit the bullet & she and her boys haven't been happier. Go with your gut

That centre was great, as you know DSD attended there up until last year.

I'm pretty sure the old director, cannot for the life of me remember her name, went to the centre just up the road from you (the one with the bus). Blake went there for a small amount of time and I found them to be quite good.

Dissappointing to hear this partiular centre has taken the cheaper labour option as opposed to quality since being bought out!
