DS currently has eczema at the moment. It is the worst that it has ever been and so far I havent been able to bring it back under control. It is usually allergy related but I can't pinpoint what has triggered this onset off.

As an idea his ears are scabby and split at the bottom near the lobes, his eye lids (top and bottom) are scaly, he has patches at the back of his neck in the creases, he had a patch on the back of his knee (its since resolved though still moisturising it), he has some on the side of his bottom just randomlly placed, and his worst by far is his inner elbow which is just red, scabby, inflamed, cracked, bloody and weepy depending on the day and the time. Its itchy as for the poor bugger, but apart from that doesnt appear to be bothering him.

This has been going on for more than a month now at a guess. A few weeks ago he got a rash on his side (apart from the fact that it was only one side of his trunk and his arm where the worst eczema is, we thought it was Chicken Pox at first), it looked a little like pimples, it didnt spread, it would fade then come back then fade. Eventually just going. The Dr didnt seem concerned stating it was just a "viral rash".

Well the rash is back again but this time his face/ears/neck and his upper back/front toward his neck area.

Has anyone had this happen with their eczema kiddies? Im thinking I will take him back to the Dr to get a review of the eczema and this rash that seems to come and go. Its never happened before, though I would think the cracks in his skin would make him more susceptible to these things too.

Any suggestions for the eczema also very welcome as we are not winning at all on this one
